"As we tee off the 2025 season, we extend a hearty welcome to all the fresh faces joining us, alongside our seasoned players who are returning. This year promises an array of new opportunities, learning experiences, and memorable moments on the green. Our community is dedicated to fostering not only the skills of the game but also the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth. Whether you're picking up a golf club for the first time or looking to refine your swing, our association is committed to supporting each player's journey. Let's make this year a hole-in-one for every young golfer in Hawaii!"
Junior Golf Association of Hawaii (JGAH) is proud to announce an initiative aimed at increasing the access, growth and development of junior golfers in Hawaii. JGAH was awarded funding by the Friends of Hawaii Charities (source of funding is the Sony Open) to provide financial support and assistance to junior golfers who want to play the game of golf by competing in locally organized golf tournaments but may not have the means to pay the JGAH membership and cost of participating in year-round tournaments. “We are thrilled that funding organizations like the Friends of Hawaii Charities support JGAH’s mission and purpose to contribute to the overall growth and development of young golfers while strengthening the game of golf,” announced Guy Moriwaki, JGAH’s President.
Qualified families may submit their application through our website.
Applications will be reviewed by members of the JGAH Board of Directors. The number of awards will be determined based on the number of applicants. The range of financial support may vary from full payment of the JGAH membership and all JGAH tournament entry fees, to financial support for an individual tournament in 2020. Please use the below table to gauge whether your child (or children) may be eligible to receive financial aid.
