Saturday, May 18 2019

As a combined community service project and fundraising activity, JGAH will be participating in the 2019 Visitor Industry Charity Walk. It is a “Superwalk” where proceeds will benefit Oahu’s non-profit organization including JGAH. You will have the opportunity to participate in several different ways. As a...

  1. Walker
  2. Volunteer
  3. and if you cannot participate the day of the event, then as a Donor!

A member of the JGAH Board has participated in the event for several years and he says it is the only Walk that you will actually gain weight as walkers are treated to food and drink at checkpoints along the walk route! All checkpoints are operated and supplied with refreshments by Hawai‘i hotels. There is usually entertainment along the route and at the end of the walk. ( dogs or pets allowed for this Walk).

Date: Saturday, May 18
Time: Walker (plan to be there around 6:30 am)
Volunteer (plan to be there around 5:00 am)
Where: Ala Moana Park, McCoy Pavilion

Please note that this event will count as one of JGAH’s community service projects and we will grant 25 Season Points to each player who participates as a Walker or Volunteer, or by Donating $50 or more. Having earned Community Service points is also a requirement for Player-of-the-Year honors at the end of the season.
